On Saturday, July 15th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Friends of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library will celebrate noted British author Iris Murdoch’s birthday with a book sale in the Library’s Annex Building. The sale will feature a 50% discount on all books in the Fiction section.

Murdoch is known for books that focus on good and evil, the power of the unconscious, and morality. Her works include “Under the Net” and “The Bell.”

Regular prices are $1 for hardback books; 50 cents for paperbacks, CDs and DVDs; 25 cents for VHS movies; and 10 cents for magazines and pamphlets.
