Enjoy a brief history of New Albany and the revitalization movement that is currently in place during a presentation at the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library. Guests are welcome to attend “New Albany, Old & New: The History and Revitalization of a River City.”

This program will take place on Thursday, May 25th, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Strassweg Auditorium. Library Archivist Kaitlyn Tisdale will highlight prominent historic structures of New Albany, many of which have been destroyed. She will also cover topics such as small businesses, education, historic houses, and more. The presentation will feature many historic photos from the Indiana Room’s archives.
