Supporting Our Library
You can support our Library through a variety of ways, whether it’s through purchasing books from the Friends of the Library book sales or making a charitable donation to the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library Foundation.
New Albany-Floyd County Public Library Foundation
The Library Foundation was founded for the sole purpose of benefiting, promoting, supporting, and enhancing the programs, services, and locations of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library. Endowments, stocks, gifts, and bequests may be contributed to the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library Foundation. All contributions are tax deductible.
Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library hold seven outdoor book sales from March to December in the Library’s main parking lot. Regular prices are $1 for hardback books; 50 cents for paperbacks, 25 cents for children’s books. Proceeds from the book sales provide additional funding for library programs and equipment, staff appreciation, and in-service programs.
