The Community Corner Food Pantry is located at the Floyd County Library on the Lower Level. The pantry has a variety of different tasks including: complete appointment intakes, record patron information, put together orders, help patrons load orders into their vehicles, organize/clean the pantry, shelving and organizing food, general cleaning, unloading and organizing donations.

If you are interested in working directly with community members and assisting them with food assistance below are the volunteer hours available:
Monday 11 AM – 7 PM
Tuesday 2 PM – 7 PM
Thursday 2 PM – 5 PM
Friday and Saturday 10 AM – 12 PM, 2 PM – 4 PM

If you are someone that enjoys restocking and organizing, we receive and pick up deliveries every Wednesday between 11 AM – 3 PM and on the last Tuesday of each month between 9 AM – 12 PM and could use assistance loading and unloading items into the pantry and restocking the shelves.

The above hours are the most beneficial to the pantry. We are willing to work with volunteers that want different hours. Volunteers are required to work for at least 2 hours at a time. Volunteers must be 18+ and pass a background check.
