Welcome to Community Corner
Launched on August 1st, 2021, Community Corner offers a food pantry where guests can get nourishing food for their family. We believe that no one should go hungry. Our pantry provides free food to help those in need. Community Corner is made possible through a partnership with Dare to Care and the USDA.
Hours of Operation: By appointment only
Monday – Thursday: 2 PM – 7 PM
Friday & Saturday: 10 AM – 12 PM ; 2 PM – 4 PM

If you are walking or riding a bicycle and have bags that will make transportation of food easier, feel free to bring them to your appointment.

Community Corner Volunteer Training
Volunteer Hours
Mon-Thur: 2 PM – 7 PM
*Wed: 10 AM – 12 PM
*Last Tues: 9 AM – 12 PM
Fri/Sat:10 AM – 12 PM, 2 PM – 4 PM
The above hours are the most beneficial to the pantry. We are willing to work with volunteers that want different hours. Volunteers are required to work for at least 2 hours at a time.
Volunteers must be 16+ and pass a background check.
Description
The pantry has a variety of different tasks. Volunteers will be asked to:
- Complete appointment intake
- Record patron information
- Put together orders that meet USDA/Dare to Care guidelines
- Help patrons load orders into their vehicles
- Organize/clean the pantry
- Shelving and organizing food
- General cleaning
- Unloading donations, Dare to Care and USDA* deliveries
*Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
