We always hear “be kind to one another,” but on November 13, we can put that to use as it will be World Kindness Day. World Kindness Day is an annual event that began at a kindness conference in Tokyo, Japan in 1997. The World Kindness Movement, an international nonprofit, was created from that conference and launched its first World Kindness Day in 1998. Every year, this special day encourages individuals to provide simple acts of kindness to create a chain of compassion that can be felt worldwide.
