March is Women’s History Month, and the National Women’s History Alliance (NWHA) has chosen the theme “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations” for the March 2025 celebration of women.
To honor this theme and the powerful influence of women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship, and leadership, the Floyd County Library is hosting a “Timeless Tea in Women’s History.” (links to registration)
You are cordially invited to join us for this special Tea Party to celebrate women!
This “Timeless Tea in Women’s History” is a celebration Tea Party open to Teens through Adults. The event will take place on Saturday, March 22 from 2-4 pm in the Library’s auditorium. Attendees are invited to dress up as their favorite female icon. We will celebrate women pioneers through trivia and engaging discussions.
Additionally, the event will feature guest speakers! Some of our local female entrepreneurs will share their own valuable stories to inspire us. There are no limits to what women can achieve!
Menu will include a variety of hot and cold teas and some snacks.
Come pay tribute to the incredible women who have paved the way for us all.
