The Indiana State Library has chosen to discontinue the Statewide Remote Circulation System (SRCS), which the Floyd County Library has been using for interlibrary loan for the past 7 years. They have asked us to return all items currently out through SRCS by a target date of September 15th. We will end requests to SRCS on Friday, August 23rd.
Going forward, requests to borrow books through interlibrary loan can be submitted to library staff online here: https://forms.gle/6BxZAdCjfZUEypue9
Alternatively, patrons may contact the library via phone or in person for direct librarian assistance, as always. The new system may lengthen wait times, so please keep that in mind as you submit your requests. We are asking patrons to limit their interlibrary loan requests to ten (10) items a month, due to cost limitations for our library. There will be no cost to patrons despite the change. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this new system.
