Did you know that the Galena Branch of The Floyd County Library has a seed library? You can choose from vegetables, flowers, and herbs. Thank you to the Floyd County Master Gardeners for our supply of seeds this year. Since the amount of seeds are limited, we are asking that two packets per patron be taken this year. Here’s a picture of our seed library:
Along with our seed library, Galena also has four raised beds on our grounds that is part of our Community Garden. On May 20, the Floyd County Master Gardeners will be at Galena Library to help get the garden planted. Come visit us to see it grow!
If you are planning to have your own garden this year, here are a few books to help get you started!
