The Floyd County Library will be hosting a special program titled Parenting Teens During a Pandemic: Building Resilience on Saturday, February 19 at 2:00 in the Library Auditorium with local Licensed Mental Health counselor Midge Carney. Ms. Carney has over 23 years in the counseling field receiving additional education in mood and anxiety disorders and is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. For this program, she will describe what resilience means, ways to build resilience and tips on how parents can help get their teens back on track after challenging times. There will be a Question and Answer period following the presentation. Registration is recommended for this event.
