We are thrilled about our brand new partnership with the Indiana University Southeast Library! Now, you can request holds be delivered to the IUSE Library, return books at the book drops on the IUSE campus, and browse a small collection of hot, popular Floyd County Library titles at IUSE!
How do I place a hold to pick up at the IUSE Library?
You’ll log in to your account and place a hold like you normally do and just select IUS as the pickup location. Give us a day or two to deliver the hold and you’ll receive a hold notification when your hold is ready to be picked up at the IUSE Library.
What kind of books can I browse there?
We have a small collection of new and popular adult and teen books to browse at the IUSE Library. These books were purchased with a grant from the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County. This collection compliments the IU Southeast Library’s collection of research material with a popular materials collection. It will be updated regularly with new and hot titles to support leisure reading of students, staff, and community members. Books in the IUS collection check out for 4 weeks just like any Floyd County Library book. They may be returned at IUS or at any Floyd County Library location.
Do you have to be an IUSE student or staff member to use this location?
No! This location is open to the community to browse and check out books, pick up holds, get a library card, or return items.
We’re so excited about this new partnership! We really hope you love it, too!
