March Madness is here!  Now, I’m not into sports, but I am familiar with March Madness.  I know that you select teams that you think will win the tournament based on statistics (unless you’re like me and always pick the Charlotte Hornets because you like their colors).  You might think that the Indiana History Room has nothing to do with sports, but you’d be surprised by what we actually do have.  We have a range of books and vertical files on Indiana college and high school basketball, as well as some books on football, baseball, and the Indianapolis 500.

The featured image shows our collection of IHSAA yearbooks, which contain statistics for those years.  If you would like to research these or other Indiana History Room sports materials, the Indiana History Room is currently available by appointment only.  You can schedule an appointment by clicking here:  https://nafclibrary.libcal.com/appointments/indianaroom.  We don’t yet know when the Indiana History Room will be fully open.  Please, check back with us for updates on that.

If you would like to check out some basketball books, we do have many in the Library’s non-fiction collection.  Here are a few books that our patrons have found interesting…
