Raise your hand if you’re suddenly trying virtual meetings for the first time in your life. Me, too. If you want to set up virtual meetings with your friends and family but you’re not sure where to start, your Library can help!
With free Lynda.com classes like Learn Zoom and Google Hangouts Essential Training, you can feel confident setting up virtual gatherings for all your friends and family. Social distancing doesn’t have to mean a complete lack of a social life.
Lynda.com classes are great for beginners and explain these programs in detail, giving you step by step help in learning new skills. You can speed up or slow down the video playback, skip around in the contents of the class, and read transcripts of the videos. And best of all, Lynda.com is free with your Floyd County Library card!
If you don’t have a library card yet, you can visit our Online Borrower Registration to get a free account to access digital materials right away. And if you have any problems with accessing with your existing library card account or have questions about getting started, don’t hesitate to email us at info@nafclibrary.org and we are happy to help!
