This October, the Floyd County Library is participating in Indiana’s One State, One Story read of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. We’re hosting many events throughout October that focus on Mary Shelley, Frankenstein, and science. Join us! Take a look at our event calendar for October programs for many different ages. You can check out a digital copy of Frankenstein for free via Hoopla and the downloadable audiobook is also available via Hoopla.

We’ll be posting discussion questions online on our Facebook page throughout October and you’ll also find them on tables at the New Albany Library. Bring a friend and come join the discussion at the library or get together a group and host your own book discussion anywhere you like. Although Frankenstein is 200 years old this year, it’s still really relevant to lots of today’s issues.
