This year, Hanukkah will begin on the evening of December 10 and end on the evening of December the 18. We have lots of great Hanukkah books for kiddos at the library. Here are just a few that you might like to check out and share with your family: 

Hanukkah by Roger Priddy, A board book with textures for the littles out there to help familiarize themselves with Hanukkah images. 

Hanukkah Lights, Hanukkah Nights by Leslie Kimmelman, John Himmelman, ill., this informational book shows how a family celebrates Hanukkah. 

Hanukkah Haiku by Harriet Ziefert & Karla Gudeon, a cultural crossover, this book dedicates a Japanese Haiku to each of the eight nights of Hanukkah. 

Hanukkah by Allan Morley, Luke Séguin-Magee, ill. (music by Mark Oblinger), This book comes with a cd and online music access so you can enjoy the illustrated version of the song about family fun during this holiday. 

The Eight Nights of Chanukah by Lesléa Newman, Elivia Savadier, ill., This picture book tells the story of Chanukah through the eyes of a child.
