Halloween is a great time to try out some fun spooky reads. Here are a few recommendations:
This delightful “horror lite” book had me alternately laughing and cheering. I did not want to put the book down. You can put the book on hold by logging into the online catalog with your library card: link here.
This picture book honors the “Dia de los Muertos” and Halloween celebrations with a fun story about Little Lobo and his friends. Learn some simple Spanish words as you discover some of the cultural origins of these holidays: link here.
Are you into haunted houses? This book will take readers on a fun-filled tour of haunted hotels, castles and landmarks. Link here.
A pulse-pounding, twisty read! Haunted by the past . . . terrified of the present. Penny’s ex, Nash, is the son of a brutal serial killer who terrorized their town last Halloween, and she is forbidden from having anything to do with Nash or his family. But the past won’t stay in the past…link here.
Happy Halloween!
