Ever wanted to experience a fantasy adventure with a group of friends? Or, maybe you would rather meet a group of strangers in a bar to go on a quest with? Perhaps you prefer to be the person controlling the story while others are attempting to survive your quest? If any of these things interest you, check out the Library’s Dungeons and Dragons group.
Every two weeks, the library hosts DND sessions for teens, with campaigns constructed by our wonderful Dungeon Masters. As a player, you will be able to make your own DND character and take part in one of these campaigns. Explore the realm of Faefall, home of the faeries, as you seek a way to return to your own world. Or explore an open world as you take a mysterious box from the southern deserts to the distant northern tundras, choosing your own path as you go.
If you have your own campaign you would like to run, you could apply to become a DM. We are constantly looking for more DMs so that we can bring in more groups of players. Because everyone deserves to have some fun.
For the adults interested in playing, have no fear. We are planning on opening a second DND session for adults once we have enough volunteer DMs. Spread the word! If you know anyone who likes to run campaigns, let them know about this.
If you want to brush up on your Dungeons and Dragons knowledge, the library has several books about it that you can check out.
The DND sessions are hosted in the Teen Scene of the library, the first and third Mondays of each month from 5pm-7:30pm. You can register for the event by going to the library’s event calendar.
