Did you know that the Floyd County Library has wonderful resources to assist you in your family history research?

 It’s TRUE!

The Stuart Barth Wrege Indiana History Room is located at the New Albany branch of the Floyd County Library and it’s a treasure trove of local historical and genealogical information.

From the Indiana Room Home Page:

“The Floyd County Library’s local history and genealogy collections are kept in the Indiana History Room, located on the main floor of the library. We hold a diverse range of materials that document the history of Floyd County and its residents, from major events to daily life. Trained staff can provide research guidance and help you use a variety of resources. Appointments are recommended for research assistance and use of archival collections.”

Going to a history and genealogy center to research can be a daunting task. Especially, when you are just getting started on your genealogy journey.
